It was odd, but I was coming to the realization that I was growing up. As were the people around me.
It was strange for me to see that people were getting married and having children. But I started to see that I had entered an adult relationship. So had my best friend. We weren't getting married (at least, as far as I know...) but we were with real people with whom we had real relationships. Where things weren't as simple as immaturity getting in the way. We were all very real, very adult individuals.
And life was becoming adult.
